Meet Our Little Miracle

Crosby Fox Malone
5 pounds 10 ounces
18.5 inches
11:24 am

At 35 weeks and 5 days, our little guy made his entrance into the world. I could not have asked for a better labor and delivery. Crosby is doing well. He was taken to the transitional nursery for observation due to grunting. We were hoping he would be able to correct his breathing on his own. However, the neonatologist just left the room letting us know that he has decided to transfer Crosby to the NICU. They will use vapotherm to help expand his lungs and help decrease his effort with breathing. The doctor is not too concerned about the situation but, of course, we are a little anxious. We want so desperately to hold him in our arms.

We have been so blessed by your willingness to pray for our son. God is good and we give Him ALL the glory for giving us this gift. Please continue to pray for the health of this boy as the doctors see him through his first day.

Blake & Danielle,
As I type this message, all four of us are standing around the laptop weeping with joy for you three. (imagine that, Brian crying, I think it is really because you did not deliver to your original due date of his birthday, 1-24-2009)
Our hearts long to be there to hold Crosby as you both did with our babies, so long ago. We love you both dearly and are so excited to add Crosby to that special list of people in our lives. We know that this little boy has been blessed with two of the best families we know, and two of the greatest parents a child could ever
be so lucky to have!We cannot wait to someday meet the newest
Malone-Lipscomb addition. All our love & prayers from "cajun country"

Yay! Congratulations. Stacy called me today to tell me you were in labor and then again after you delivered your beautiful, healthy boy. Next time we visit Nashville, I'll ask Stacy to introduce us. Maybe our baby boys can play together!

Danielle and Blake,
You may or may not remember me...I was Katie's Matron of Honor in your brother's wedding.
I have been following your story, and I am so incredibly happy for you and your newest addition. Crosby is going to be the luckiest little boy because you both will NEVER take him for granted. It cried tears of joy for you both tonight as I read this post. Congratulations and soak up every second of sweet little Crosby's life!
Much love,
