Forever Young Shower

My parent's Sunday school class (they call themselves "Forever Young"...and they are!!!)hosted a shower for me and Crosby on February 8, 2009, at the home of Mrs. Daniel. At only 6 weeks old and in the middle of RSV, cold and flu season, we were being super careful about having Crosby in public places. These ladies had been praying for him for months and we wanted to desperately to share him with the group. For the sake of his health, he and Blake made an initial appearance so everyone could take a peak. After a quick "meet and greet," the boys headed out the door! So that is why you won't seem much of him in these pictures!!!

My aunt and cousin were so sweet to drive up from Georgia to meet Crosby. They had lunch with our family before heading to the shower. It was a quick trip for them but we were so excited to have them visit!

As you can see, Crosby was showered with lots and lots of love. Though short, this was his first major outing! It was a gorgeous day with lots of sunshine. It was the perfect day to spend time with friends and family. This group was so faithful to pray for us and we are forever grateful to them. We feel so loved and are blessed to have these folks in our life!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you...
