She would have been...

Smiling, laughing, singing, walking, jumping, running, tossing, hugging, kissing, crying, screaming, playing, dancing. Today she would have been 2 years old and full of life. Oh, sweet Finley. My first born. My daughter. What I would give to have her here. To see her smile. To hear her voice. What I would give for a few more minutes to hold her in my arms. To do things differently. To kiss her cheeks. To hold her hand. To rub her feet. To tell her I love her. Though her time on earth was short, her impact on me will last a lifetime.

I love you sweet baby and think of you every day. Your mom, dad and baby brother celebrate you today. Thank you for blessing our lives with yours. And, thank you, Lord, for a beautiful day to spend with our girls.

oh danielle, a tender heart, but hopeful, joyful heart...that is the kind of heart God can use to help others! how precious your remembrances of Finley and Caroline, how wonderful your moment by moment blessing of Crosby. would you please pray, and anyone who reads this for another young family who's hearts are brusied yet hopeful. kilie and matthew have a little baby..and i mean little...around 1 lb. 11 oz. born at 25 1/2 weeks, due to his mother's severe, health-threatening high blood pressure, etc. he's hanging on and although he wasn't due until july, he is doing as well as can be expected for such a young, young baby boy. his name is Greyson, only about 13" long....having good and not so good days in the nicu in nashville. there is a blog...got to check out my email to make sure. will repost in a moment with the blog name so you can keep up with him and please everyone pray. the prayer of his young mom is precious and if you can keep from tearing up and over...you are a stronger woman than me. danielle, possibly you could get in touch and help them through love and encouragement. as always, love, bettie. collosians 3:17

Blake and Danielle, Buddy and I worked in the yard Saturday, and talked about you on and off all day. We were praying you were enjoying the beautiful day with your three precious ones. You are demonstrating so well what healthy grieving looks like. It never stops, but it feels every moment with love and passion for what has been lost, and yet allows you to enjoy and cherish what remains with a grateful heart. We love you, Tricia
