At 11:24 am, Crosby Fox turned 15 weeks old!!! I took him to the clinic this afternoon just for this post. When I plopped him on the scale, it settled on 13 pounds even. My arms have been wearing out lately!! Now I know why. But I do have to admit I had just given him 4 ounces of milk. Soooo, give or take a little if you would like!
Crosby went to his first Easter egg hunt on Saturday with his cousins. Sam and Gid did most of the hunting for Crosby while he had his bottle! :) They were sweet to share their eggs with him. He enjoyed being outside in the nice weather. It was a great afternoon!

Just hanging out...

Crosby with his basket...
Lap full of eggs...
Look what the Easter Bunny left for Crosby! He went with practical items like rice cereal, bowls for rice cereal, a book on the true meaning of Easter, swimming diapers, a summer outfit and car seat toys!
Lulu had an Easter basket for Crosby. He got a cap with an elephant on it, a musical Peter Cottontail book, stationery, a onesie, a little lamb bag and candy, which I may have accidentally eaten!

We went to church Sunday morning at Otter Creek. It was a packed house and such a wonderful service. Afterward, the Lipscomb crew had a delicious brunch at the Copper Kettle. We spent a little time at Justin and Katie's house afterward.
An attempt at a family photo...
Grammy and Pop gave Crosby another Easter basket with a book and 2 outfits inside. He is one loved baby!! This was his first time meeting Elmo. I think he liked what he saw...
Pop brought back a seersucker jumper from the practice rounds of The Masters. This is a BIG DEAL when you come from a family of golf addicts!!! You can't tell in the picture but the buttons are golf balls! So cute! The other outfit matches the cap Lulu gave him. It is precious, too...
Maybel licking his toes...
We headed to Anne Claire and Jeremy's afterwards to spend the rest of the day with the Malone crew. I will have to update with those pictures this week. My hands were full so I didn't get any pictures. But Lulu did!!
On another note, Crosby had a few great nights this week!!! Saturday, Blake, Crosby and I took a little trip to Cool Springs. After dinner at Genghis Grill and a quick trip to the mall, we got back home around 9:00. Baby boy was bathed and in bed by 10:00. I didn't hear a peep out of him until 6:15 Sunday morning!! Too bad I woke up at 3:00, worried that milk I had out would go bad! Fortunately, I feel back asleep quickly. I felt SO rested when I woke up Sunday morning. It felt wonderful!!!
THEN, Crosby really didn't get a good nap on Sunday. We finally got him bathed and in bed last night around 8:15. I didn't not hear from him until 6:15! 10 whole hours!!!! What a big boy!!! Too bad I had a hard time falling asleep and then woke up worried that I should pump and take out a new bottle. Oh well!! At least I got one good night. I am most excited that he had 2 in a row.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for tonight but I am kind of doubting it! Crosby had several good naps and wasn't being pumped with milk all day long! I'm thinking I am going to have to keep my schedule full everyday if I want him to sleep all night!!! :)

I heard about the Easter egg hunt before I saw this post...Perd came over to my parents on Saturday and was just glowing as he described what his grandchildren were getting into that day! So sweet to see a grandfather's love! I imagine you felt pretty good, too! What a celebration this Easter has been for you all! I am so happy that there was sun and nice weather for the kiddos! In response to Crosby's sleeping patterns the past 48 hours...rock on, little man!!! And to you, little mommy, get yourself to bed, you crazy thing! :) jill
So glad to hear that you all had a great Easter....that Crosby looks just like his daddy!!!!! So sweet and growing growing growing....looks like the Easter Bunny was pretty good!
I hope Crosby continues to sleep for you--it takes a little while to get into a good routine, doesn't it?!?!?
How fun that he's going to have ANOTHER cousin....so exciting!
