Christmas Day

Years ago, I requested that we try our best to wake up at our house on Christmas morning once children were in the picture. How thrilled am I that we FINALLY got to follow through!! I guess technically speaking, we woke up here last year. If you can recall, Dr. B was off through Christmas day so I wasn't willing to take any chances by traveling!!! This year was so different. How exciting to experience Christmas through the eyes of OUR child! Not that he really knew what was going on...but he did love his toys! It was a looooooooong day, but a good one...

There was no rest for the weary as far as we were concerned. We packed up the car and headed to the Lipscombs for dinner! We ate and then bathed Crosby because we knew he wouldn't last much longer...

It was the Little People Nativity!!! I am SOOO excited about this one! I think it will be a great way for him to learn about the birth of Jesus!

We had a wonderful day with ALL of our family on Christmas. I love this time of year anyway. But this year was a little sweeter!

I am a little disapointed with myself for not taking more pictures. I will blame it on the fact that I was manning to cameras at once. And it is hard to watch Crosby and hold the camera at the same time! Oh well...I'll remember try to do better next year!
