Mondays with Crosby

At 11:24 am, Crosby Fox turned 17 weeks old!!! We are 2 days shy of his 4 month birthday. I cannot believe my tiny baby is almost 4 months old. Well, I guess he is not so tiny anymore. And I have proof below!! Crosby is still talking up a storm. It is the cutest thing I have ever heard. He actually wakes up taking most of the time now. I prefer his sweet little voice over a cry!
We are in somewhat of a clothing dilemma. I had to pull out some of his summer clothes due to the warm weather we have been having. I laughed as I grabbed a 6-9 month outfit, thinking, "This will be huge!!" Well, apparently Crosby has my torso because I barely got the thing snapped at the bottom!! He has plenty of room in the sides but none in the length. I guess we can just leave everything unbuttoned!!!

Crosby went to his first festival this weekend. Blake had to work on Saturday. :( So Crosby and I met Carina and Greta in Franklin for the Main Street Festival. Good thing we got there early! Not only did it get pretty crowded, it was a scorcher!! I set out with 2 goals in mind: getting Crosby's silhouette and having his hand casted. Mission accomplished!!

Posing perfectly while Igor cut out his silhouette...
Carina holding Greta for her silhouette...
***No...Carina and I do not have poor circulation in our legs. Once again, my camera was on some weird setting and our legs are all discolored. Fortunately I got that taken care of...
The little ones during a bathroom break...
Crosby getting his hand casted...

The finished product...
Wouldn't you know, I broke his pinkie off as soon as I pulled in the garage. Whammed the bag against the gear shift when taking it out of the car. Thankfully, the break was clean and right at the PIP joint (for those who know where that is...:)) I called the makers of the casts and they would have done another one free of charge. But super glue did the trick and you can't tell it was ever damaged. I was still mad at myself. What a klutz...

We had small group at the park last night. Of course I had to take the camera. I didn't take that many pictures but Moriah did! I will have to post hers when I get them. She got some great shots!
Attempting to get the whole family in a picture...Nugget wasn't feeling it...

I could eat him up...

I mean, could he be more beautiful???

I have been needing to put Crosby's clean sheets on his bed. But he is always IN the bed when my hands are free. Today I solved that problem by letting him nap in a our bed. It was a funny sight seeing that tiny head peeking out from the covers...

He wasn't asleep very long. I walked by and saw two feet sticking straight up in the air!! :) He saw me and a huge gummy, grin was to follow. I can't resist that smile so I had to go and get him.
See, he isn't so tiny. Crosby's got rolls!!!!!
He is already trying to stand up on me.
I am completely and utterly in LOVE with this baby. I can't get enough of him. He slept really well this weekend...9 hours 2 nights in a row. By the time morning rolled around, I could barely keep myself from waking him up. I just needed to hold him. It had been WAY too long since he had been in my arms!
Tomorrow is his 4 month doctors appointment. I am eager to see where he falls on the percentile charts these days. I am thinking he has caught up significantly. I am DREADING his shots. It is one thing to hear him cry when he is fussy. But it is another thing to hear him cry when he is in pain. Lord give me strength to make it through his appointment without falling apart... :(
Will update with his stats tomorrow. Then perspective pictures on Wednesday!!!

Love the cast of Crosby's little hand--I have one of all three children and I LOVE them--such a treasure....sorry, but that baby still looks just like Blake!!!! (That's a good thing with such a handsome daddy!!)
The picture of him napping in your bed is too funny--little arm poking out--he looked like he was happy to be there. Have a great week!
Love...Juli
