Mondays with Crosby

At 11:24 am, Crosby Fox turned 2 years and 1 week old!!! Only...did he? Not really! Technically speaking, that won't happen until Wednesday. I am not really sure how to adjust for leap years. And there is no way I will switch from "Mondays with Crosby" at this point! We'll just go with it for now.

This was a BIG week! I can't believe that my teeny tiny baby is TWO years old! Where in the world did the past two years go??? Long days...short years. He is proving that one to be true!

We did a LOT of celebrating this sweet boy over that past week. It all started on Wednesday with a birthday breakfast of oatmeal...

He looked pretty excited about that meal, right?! Sweet thing! Blake had to work and I couldn't stand the idea of waiting until he came home to start celebrating. So we went to him! On the way, we stopped by Snip Its for a birthday haircut...

Then we made it to Animalia...He even agreed to wear his birthday hat for a few minutes!!!

Blake ordered pizza for everyone. Crosby managed to get a few bites in...
Crosby wasn't worried about pizza because he was distracted by theses ADORABLE Lulu made cupcakes...
She saw them in a Martha Stewart magazine and thought they would be perfect for a party at a vet clinic! How appropriate!!! How cute...

We lit a "2" candle and sang "Happy Birthday"...

He thought it was pretty fun...Blowing out the candle. Of course I had to make the "blowing out the candle" face too...

Crosby was sooooo excited to eat his cupcake. Bethel patiently waited to eat a bite too! She may have gotten a taste or two...

Then he got to open a present from the Animalia crew. With a little help from Denver...

This year, Crosby really "gets it" as far as opening presents is concerned...

I am pretty sure he thinks he get to do this every few days now! Too bad he has another 11 months to wait!!! Poor December baby...

He was able to see that it was on of his most favorite toy lines...Mighty World!!!

They had NO IDEA that he is in love with all things Mighty World...

"Open! Open! Open!"

Charlotte spent most of her time loving on Denver...

Crosby also got a book from Lulu and GranBuddy...

He had to name all of the characters for Anne Claire...

Charlotte decided it was time to take a nap in the dog bed! I can't blame her. It is one of the cutest beds I have ever seen too!!! ;-)

We had a great time celebrating with Blake and the Animalia crew. I am pretty sure we invaded their space a little too long but we had a great time!

We got to celebrate his birthday again on Saturday in Birmingham with Jason, Kerri, Sam and Gid. Kerri had the sweetest cupcakes for him when we arrived...

He was surprised to hear the birthday song again...

The BIG DAY was Sunday! He got all dressed up for church seeing how it was party time afterward...

This was one boy who was excited to celebrate his birthday for the THIRD time in 4 days!!!

After a nap and a wardrobe change, someone was ready to party with his best buds and family. You will have to check back to see those!!! They are pretty cute...
