Mondays with Crosby

At 11:24 am, Crosby Fox turned 1 year and 20 weeks old!!! The week started out pretty hectic but calmed down a little in the middle. I foresee things picking back up as we countdown our trip to the beach. All the ladies in the family have been forbidden to make any plans 3 days prior to our departure. I guess that means I better get things in order! Starting with the purchase of a new suitcase to replace the one I donated to flood victims. Then I have got to come up with the perfect floatation device for our wild child. I hear we are going to spend lots of time at the pool so we better prepare. I may or may not have considered a child leash for this busy boy!! ;) Okay, I haven't but we could probably put one to good use!

I have been a slacker, once again with the ole Canon this week. I did manage to snap a few pictures today as we were grilling dinner and playing outside. Have I mentioned Crosby loves being outdoors? He could care less about the weather or the temperature. He wants to be free from the confinement of walls. Can't say that I blame him! Playing with bubbles is one of his favorite activities at the moment. He can even say "bubble" pretty clearly...

We think it sounds pretty cute! And it evokes kickin' dance moves!!! I caught him doing his his new thing. Walking with his hands behind his back. It might look sweet but I bet there is trouble running through that head of his...
Having a little fit. Ahhh, gotta love tantrums...
We finally lost the scab over his left eye on Saturday. But he managed to fall into a fence today and has a nice scratch on his forehead and a bruise on his right cheek. Poor muffin can't win for losing...
Showing us his boat...
Showing us his head...

Pointing to an airplane...
Just cheesing!!!
This is a video from our trip to South Carolina. Jessica had this boy belly laughing with pig sounds. He kept trying to do it himself but just managed to squinch up his nose and mouth over and over. That is why we now call that his "pig face"...

And finally, we'll leave you with a video of one of our conversations. We have been having lots of them lately. If only I could figure out what he thinks he is saying...

I bought Rad one of the monkey backpack leashes, and it was a lifesaver at times. He loved having it on, and he was usually straining at it, trying to get away from me! I mostly used it on walks to Radnor lake, because I had visions of him trying to throw himself off the side of the road, into the lake!
