Mondays with Crosby

At 11:24 am, Crosby Fox turned 2 years and 32 weeks old!!!  By the looks of the picture above and the delay in getting this posted, I struggled the past 2 weeks.  We have had lots of fun stuff going on.  Too bad I was the ultimate slacker and did a poor job with photo documentation.  Once again, I am mad at myself for not taking more pictures. What can I do now?  Post what I've got...

On Wednesday, we got together with our friends to celebrate Leighton's birthday.  She had a Pancakes and Pajamas themed party!  How cute is that??  The kiddos looked so cute running around in their PJs.  We managed to get them ALL to sit at the table to sing "Happy Birthday" and eat pancakes...

The birthday girl and her proud parents...
It looks like Crosby was slighted a pancake.  Let me assure you he was not.  I think this was actually in between pancake #1 and #2...
See, here he is digging in.  No small bites for our boy...

Let me just say, the pancakes were DELISH!  That is one thing I really struggle to make well.  Gonna have to get that recipe from you Courtney.  Maybe that will do the trick...

The boys were all about playing with tools.  Actually, they just stood there, banging their tools on workstation, making LOTS of noise!  No surprise there...
Of course we had to take a group shot of all the kiddos.  All started out well...
Then we had a little ruckus going on to the left of the picture.  And then there is Crosby who cries when his picture limit has been exceeded.  At least we managed to get 8 out of 10 kiddos present!
And here is the proof that we used bribery to get the group picture.  Yep, Lucas IS eating chocolate chips right out of Courtney's hand...
What a fun way to celebrate sweet LeiLei!!  Good times for sure!

Over the weekend, we (me, Crosby, Anne Claire, Charlotte and Lucy) took a little road trip to Gadsden to visit the sweet Hawkins/Gant crew! This is were I went totally slacker.  I guess it had something to do with the fact that we had 4 babes under the age of 3 in one house.  And then there is the part where we spent most of the day in our bathing suits!  Not only is it is hard to take pictures while swimming, Charlotte and Henley were the only ones that would allow a bathing suit photo to be posted online! ;-)  Here is the ONLY picture I have of the kiddos.  Of course Crosby was off swimming in the deep end so he didn't make the lone group shot... :-/

Pretty pathetic kiddo picture.  I know.  Here is further proof that we were all together last weekend.  And if you can't tell, and I don't know why you couldn't, from left to right, Corey, Henley, Anne Claire, Charlotte, Melinda, Davis and Lucy.  Crosby was on the diving board and I was behind him taking pictures...

Crosby attempted the diving board a few weeks ago.  Much to my surprise, he was a little timid.  Not this time.  He walked right to the edge and jumped right off.  He did this approximately 500 times on Saturday!  Here are a few action shots...

He was actually wearing a swimsuit earlier in the day.  This was swimming round 2 and I didn't feel like putting his wet suit back on. A swim diaper is technically all that is needed...right?

Same skills, different angle...

And if that wasn't enough diving board footage, here is a little more...

Crosby and Henley walked up to the front of the house to watch Grandy on the mower.  Sweet Miss Henley grabbed on to the railing, just below a wasp's nest.  Poor baby got stung right on her bitty hand.  It nearly broke our hearts.  And hers.  She kept holding her hand and showing us her boo boo...
Crosby and Charlotte had a good ole time playing on this toddler sized sofa...
He kept pretending to be asleep.  She just wanted a hug!
We had a great visit with the Gants.  It was so fun to see how big the twins had gotten.  We had not seen them since last year!  It is amazing to look back at how fast our little blessing have grown!  What special friends...

We headed back to TN on Sunday morning.  Crosby got an abbreviated afternoon nap before we headed out to small group.  We managed to get a picture of all the kiddos who were there that night.  Kinda nuts to see how much we are growing!!  Two families couldn't make it, both with a toddler each and a babe in the womb!  Wow!
Left to right: Luke, Ainsley, Crosby, Addy, Dean, Annie, Lilyanne, Milly

What a great week with all of our dear friends!!  Let's see if I can stay on top of things this week...
