At 11:24 am, Crosby Fox turned 2 years and 17 weeks old!!! With school, work, CBS, playgroup, birthday parties, school, Seder dinner and Easter, I would say it was another busy one! I must admit, I kind of like it that way, most of the time! I need a breather every now and then. But I sure love to live life to the fullest with Crosby! Let me just get right to it...
We had a playgroup Easter egg hunt on Wednesday. How precious are these kiddos...
Miss Addy... My goodness this one is ALL girl!!! She was dressed up as the bride. What do you bet she will sit and quietly watch the entire Royal Wedding?!?!?
Courtney made these precious cupcakes for the crew to snack on...Crosby had to sit and eat his lunch BEFORE I would give him one of those lovely cupcakes!!! He did...
All the kiddos were finished eating and playing around the house. Next thing I know, someone is yelling, "Get the camera!!! Get the camera!!!" The picture speaks for itself...Miss Priss apparently prefers to be in her birthday suit! It doesn't help that she is so tiny her skirt just falls off those hips! Too funny!
Courtney and Lei Lei...
All our little munchkins ready to find the eggs...
Headed up the sidewalk with baskets in tow...And from the other direction... :)
He has his egg hunting face on...
Crossing the street and heading toward the playground...Crosby found his first egg!!!
Lucas filling up his basket...
Crosby's still going...
Dean with a mouth FULL of candy...Miss Addy showing off her loot...
Miss Mason swinging on the monkey bars...
Crosby's basket all full of goodies...
All done...
We had the great idea to attempt a group shot of the mommas. Jenny decided let Miss Addy have a try and gave her a quick lesson...
And these are the results...
How funny is that?!?! We then decided to use the timer and got this one...Then we got the crazy idea to attempt a group shot of EVERYONE (minus the 2 babes, Miss Maggie and Miss Annie). The following image is nothing short of a miracle...
I still cannot believe we got a picture with each and every child looking toward the camera with no tears!!! Amazing... We had such a great time with all of our friends. Love love these babies and their mommas! Not only was Wednesday the date of our playgroup egg hunt, it was Lulu's *%th BIRTHDAY!!!!! We meet, Lulu, GranBuddy, Anne Claire, Jeremy and Charlotte for dinner at Sapphire at The Factory in Franklin...
Anne Claire, Lulu and GranBuddy...
Our little family...
Crosby with his grandparents...
After dinner, we had to go play in the GIANORMOUS Easter basket...
Can you tell these two thought it was pretty awesome???Such a goof ball!!!
Then we had to take pictures in the big 'ole chair. Can't believe we haven't done this before...
Crosby and the birthday girl...
The Cyr crew. Would you look at that Charlotte?!? I don't know if it is the bow or what but she just looked like a doll to me that night. Eat her up...
On Thursday, I got the most exciting phone call from an Auburn friend. She, her husband, Rocky, and their little one, Avery, were coming to town!!! They wanted to know if we had dinner plans on Friday. Can you believe our schedule was WIDE open! Just for the Olivers. With kids in tow, we headed to San Antonio Taco Company. Crosby and Avery hit it off from the get go...
He felt the need to take care of her a bit. You know, because he is sooo much older and WAY more mature than she is at a mere 1 1/2 years old... We had to demonstrate what happens when Bubba goes in the mouth. So funny to see Crosby's hand slip right up Allison's sleeve (Amy's sister)...
Crosby giving out hugs...
The Oliver Crew at Ben and Jerry's...
The mommas and their babes...
And a group shot...
So fun to see the Olivers! We have great memories of vet school days....when it was just the 4 of us playing Mexican train... Miss you already!!!
So I know that I have exceeded the number of pictures that one should include in a blog post, but there are more. We had a super busy and fun Easter Sunday. Our day started off at Otter Creek with the ENITRE Malone family. (I didn't take my camera into the service and now I am kicking myself for it) We all cleaned up so nicely. It would have made for a great blog picture... Anyway, I was super stressed because there would be no nursery for Crosby to go to. That meant he would have to sit in "big church", as I like to call it when I was a kiddo. Much to my surprise, he was really, really well behaved. That may have had something to do with the fact that he had Bubba in his mouth and Sam and Gid to play with! The service was wonderful, with lots of singing to celebrate our Risen Savior!! After church, we headed to Columbia for lunch with the Lipscombs, followed by dinner with the Malones. We had such a great day! And I have pictures to prove it...
The bunny stopped by our house...
I know. Kind of a random gift for the bunny to leave, huh?!? He told me that he found a great deal on this Might World Construction Set and he just HAD to get it. (like $80 for $16 deal...) Needless to say, Crosby loved it...
We love that there are a million pieces to keep up with... :-/
Of course there was a basket with eggs and a few cars...
The construction trucks may or may not have kept Crosby entertained during church...
Our little family in our Easter duds...
Crosby with Aunt Katie and Uncle Justin...
LOVED the outfit Lulu made for Crosby...Crosby with Gee Gee and Pop...
Sweet boy with Gee Gee...
After lunch and a nap, we headed to the Malones. How sweet are these cousins...
Sam helped Crosby hunt for eggs outside...
"I see it!!!!"
And he got it...
Sweet Charlotte got a basket full of eggs too...
All of the cousins comparing sweets...
Our crew...again...
Sam, Gid, Kerri and Jason...
The Cyrs...
GranBuddy took the kids up the hill to see the bulls...
How sweet is that bunch?
Lulu passed out Easter baskets to the little ones...Charlotte got a neck pillow and had to try it out! So cute...
Then we had a surprise birthday party for Sam...
He was completely surprised!
Love these boys...
Farwell hugs...
Whew! I finally made it to the end! You will have to check back this week. Crosby was in rare form during bath time last night. He was ALLLL about singing for the camera... :)
