The verdict and other randomness...

It's painted... I know, I know. Some folks are pretty disappointed. You can really tell me what you think. It won't hurt my feelings because "you can't please everyone", right?? After LOTS and LOTs of discussion with LOTS and LOTS of people, we decided something just didn't settle well with the full stained look. I absolutely love to see everything stained on houses around Nashville. But I don't live in those houses!! I live in THIS house... The good news is WE are quite pleased with the finished look. I ended up painting everything and sealing the door myself. I guess that makes me like it a little more. There is one thing left to do at this point. It has been "highly" recommended that we get an awning to protect our lovely door. Because we don't want this one to rot, we will follow orders. It should be installed in 3 weeks or so. Fortunately for you, I didn't ask TOO many people about this. We just made a decision and are hoping for the best! Will share when it is finished! I am sure you can hardly wait...

I know, it is not time for all of this. But I just had to. I think he will be too long to actually wear this for Halloween, so we put it on yesterday!!! Is he not the cutest punkin' you have EVER seen. Feel free to hold your comments if you don't agree on this one!!! :) I am not sure what he will be for Halloween. Blake wants him to be a mummy. "With black eyes and blood," he said!!! I am thinking not...

Peaking out of his bed...

Look what we did!!! He is now in a big boy car seat. We are headed out on a vacation in , oh, 30 minutes!!! I thought it would be a good idea to put him in his big seat!! He loves it so far. I am not sure he will love 10+ hours ONE WAY!!! Say a little prayer would ya!!!
