Mondays with Crosby

At 11:24 am, Crosby Fox turned 2 years and 25 weeks old!!!  Once again, I am amazed at how quickly time seems to be going these days.  I am pretty sure it gets faster each and every day.  He is almost 2 and a HALF year old?!?!  Seriously. Did we not just have a 2 year old truck themed birthday party?  There is only one way to describe it...

Sigh.

Like most weeks these days, this was a busy one.  Lots of fun things to do with people we love.  We spend Wednesday morning at Monkey Joes.  Crosby is a big fan of friends and bouncy houses.  Combine the two and he is in heaven!  We met the Graves crew, the Mayfield gals and the "sassy redheads", as Momma Mayfield likes to call the Cyr girls!!! :)

Lucas and Crosby going up...
At the top of the slide...
Lucas coming down...
Crosby flying down, out of control as usual...
Absolutely out of control!!!  Wild boy...

Crosby is quite fond of "Mrs. Cout Nay"! (pronounced in his best British accent)  She was such a trooper to go down the slide with him over and over.  Leighton wasn't too sure about sharing her momma!

The Sassy Redheads didn't hold back!  Little Miss might have a few of the same wild genes running through her as her cousin does!  Yikes...
I got to take Charlotte down too!
I mean look at that face!  Sassy for sure!!!
Sweet friend hugs...
Then we try to throw the boy into the mix and it turns ugly!!!
When the kiddos weren't bouncing, they were sitting on these...
We actually put a quarter in and let them ride before we left!  How fun that we have a picture of Crosby and Leighton on their first official car date!!
Random.  New PJ's that look adorable on my boy.  We call them his alphabet soup PJ's.  He loves them. I love him in them.  Winning combination don't you agree... ;-)
On Friday, the Weather Channel predicted a 100% chance of rain at 10:00 am.  Wouldn't you know that was the exact time we planned a play date at the pool!!!  We went back and forth on whether or not we should drive to Nollensville for a play date at the pool.  We decided to take our chances and headed out to swim.  It might have been a little on the chilly side, but not one single drop fell from the side.  The 6 of us had 3 entire pools to ourselves!  Fabulous for this crew...
These pictures aren't necessarily the greatest, composition wise.  I have to post them because they totally crack me up!  I was attempting to take a picture of Crosby with a visor on.  But someone jumped in the way...
on...
multiple...
occasions!!!  Just one example of how wild these boys were in the water!
Then there is Lei Lei.  Sweet thang wasn't sure about the water at first.  Actually, she kinda hated it!  With a little coaxing, Courtney was able to convince her that the pool wasn't so bad...

Then there is this one.  My goodness.  Who knows why he was in time out.  But he was.  And I can assure you he deserved it!  Courtney just had to take my camera and snap a picture of his misery.  Once again, I prove that while I don't dwell on the negative here, we all have our moments! ;-)
Puddle Jumpin guppies ready to go...
Seriously.   The puddle jumper is, hands down, the greatest floatation device ever invented.  This boy can swim all over a  pool with this get up on!  He can get on his belly.  He can stretch out on his back.  His head is held above the water anyway he moves.  Well, unless he jumps in off the side!  Then he goes under but then pops right back up.  He loves this contraption as much as I do.  It has made life at the pool a million times easier than last year!  Thank goodness...
Sunday was Father's Day!!  Crosby made the cutest card for Blake while we were at Monkey Joes (of all places!) on Wednesday.  He was so excited to give him the card.  Should have taken a picture...probably will add that later for my sake...  Anyway, our day was a little hectic but we got to see all of the special fathers in our lives!

Crosby with the best Daddy in the world!
Blake had to give a lecture on Animal Wellness at 2:00...on Father's Day.  No comment.  So Crosby and I headed to Columbia after church.  We ate lunch with Gee Gee and Pop then headed back to their house.  Crosby came upstairs with Pop's hat on...
Then he made me wear it...
Gee Gee loving on her best boy...
Me loving on my Daddy!
Blake finished up his lecture and headed to the Malones.  The kiddos did a little swimming.  Yes, the puddle jumper allowed us to stay out of the water!!!  Seriously, they are a must have for while toddlers.  Seriously.  I remembered to pack his swim diaper but failed to bring the actual swim shorts!  Oops.  Good thing they weren't totally see through.  Oh wait, they were...
Sweet Charlotte on the spider...
Almost all of the cousins...
There's Gid!
We celebrated Father's Day and Jeremy's birthday with homemade cupcakes by Lulu...

Delish!!

Happy Father's Day to Blake, GranBuddy, Pop, Jason and Jeremy!!!  (Should have taken a group picture... )  You are so loved!

AHHH! Gotta get a puddle jumper! Where do you get them? Would it be appropriate for a 15-month old? I love these ideas you give me! Great Mama-advice!
