Mondays with Crosby

At 11:24 am, Crosby Fox turned 1 year and 14 weeks old!!! This week was super busy. And I have a MILLION pictures to prove it. So I will just jump right in...

We had an appointment with Dr. P on Tuesday. I remembered the walls in the exam rooms had been painted so I took the camera with us. I am thinking the blue looks better with his skin tone, but what can you do? He is still pretty cute to me...He found his own chair to sit in while we waited. No telling how many germs are on that chair. You gotta live a little, right??? It kept him happy so we took our chances...15 months stats:

Height: 33.5 inches - 97th percentile (Blake is pretty sure that is a tad high. He was supposed to be holding his head at the top of the chart but Crosby may have squirmed a bit. We'll go with it. It wasn't THAT far off!)

Weight: 23 pounds 4 ounces - 32nd percentile -long and very lean

Head Circumference: 47.3 cm - 54th percentile...pretty average noggin'

NO shots!!! Yay! We decided to put one off until the next time. Might as well torture him all at once. Once those are done, we won't have to deal with needles again until he is 5! At least I hope to avoid them until then. One can wish!

We headed out to see the Easter bunny after our appointment. Wouldn't you know we got to the mall at 10:15 and the bunny didn't get there until 11:00. Blake isn't one to enjoy killing time at the mall so we had a change of plans. We went to see the REAL bunnies at Phillips Toy Mart. I promise there are real bunnies in there. Crosby wanted to climb in the cage with them which limited our photo opportunity...
We ran into Mrs. Melissa and Crosby's best girl, Margaret. Surprise, surprise!!! They were heading to see the Easter bunny!!! Blake let us tag along with them so we could get our picture this year. We stopped at the park first for a little swing time. This face along with that left hand just kills me. Not sure why...
Content to swing for days...
Couldn't help but post these sweet feet...

Crosby with his best girl...

Then we finally made our way to the bunny's lap...
"Hey, man! I sittin with the bunny!!"
He acted like he and the bunny get together all the time. Old pals! He loved it. I did too.

We took the wagon out for a spin on Wednesday. Like usual, we ended up stopping in to see everyone at the clinic. I put a ball cap on his head to keep the sun out of his eyes, which I found adorable...

Too bad it was too small and made indentions in his head. Whoops! He was quickly distracted by this little puff ball. Crosby LOVES cats. This poor kitten would have had no chance had Crosby been left alone with it. You can tell those grubby fingers wanted to "play"...
On Thursday, we made a special trip to Spring Hill to visit my #1 commenter, Jill. We have been waiting for a chance to meet her little beauty, Ann Cortner. Here is Jill loving on my little fella...
Just a few of the Malone and Norman kiddos!!! We love you, Jill, and think the world of your sweet family. We are so happy to have Ann Cortner here and healthy. She is an absolute doll...Otter Creek had an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. Due to an early morning shower, festivities were moved inside. Crosby enjoyed filling his basket with eggs anyway! He didn't know the difference...
He liked opening the eggs to see what was inside even more!!!
Easter Sunday...
It is a real struggle to get a good picture of these two wiggle worms these days!!!
This was about as good as it got!! They looked so sweet in their Easter outfits, made by Lulu, of course!!!
An attempt at a family photo...
And FINALLY, my mom and dad are BOTH looking at the camera. Crosby is too...sorta...
Perd, Crosby and Lulu...
We pulled out play clothes before having our picnic lunch. And of course there were more pictures. Silly bunnies...
Easter goodies...
After a good, long nap, we took the wagon out for another spin. Crosby thinks he is big enough to pull it himself...
Or maybe he can just push it...

Better yet, he will just help dad pull it back home!! Happy Easter!!!

He is getting so big!! It's a shame I don't live closer-I'd love to get these two together (and see you, too!) Love all of the pictures-especially the sweet feet!

Ah, I made the blog! I feel like such a celebrity! Hope I don't get too many cyber-stalkers! :)

Seriously, what a cute post! Easter is just the perfect backdrop for such sweet-faced children, I swear! Cute clothes, cute colors, cute activities, and family! It's like the perfect celebration without the fuss of some other holidays!

You sure have a good-looking family, extended as well!
