Mondays with Crosby and Jane Claire

Published with Blogger-droid v2.0.4
At 11:24 am, Crosby Fox turned 3 years and 22 weeks old!!!  At 1:03 pm, Jane Claire turned 9 weeks old!!!  I am not sure why the above picture is so cloudy.  I just love it.  Except for the fact that Jane Claire looks WAY to big.  And so does Crosby, for that matter!  ;-)  I just love how much he loves her. I haven't seen an ounce of jealousy.  Now that may very well change when she starts messing up his car lots!  But for now, he is her biggest fan and that melts this momma's heart.

On Thursday, our play group met at the Nature Center at Edwin Warner Park.  I have heard people talk about the dirt mound for several years now but had never taken Crosby.  From the sound of things, it was a messy place to take kids.  I was told to bring a towel.  I went ahead a brought a full set of clothes.  You know, just in case.  Thank the Lord is all I can say!  A couple of water pumps and dirt don't mix well.  Unless you ask Crosby!  He says they go together perfectly...

Luke and Dean playing at the water pump...
Crosby jumping in a mud puddle...
And.  Well.  Now he is sitting in a muddy stream...
Luke standing in the same muddy stream...
A shot of the crew at play...
Annie managed to stay pretty clean!  Look at Crosby in the back ground making his way up the dirt pile again...
Muddy Buddy...
And then it really goes down hill...
Would you look at this child!!!  Who's kid is this??
He had mud CAKED into his head.  Deep breath.  This it the first time he has ever gotten remotely dirty.  Deep breath. Let him be a boy. Deep breath... ;-)
Ah.  My little girl!  She and Brooke just hung out on the picnic blanket.  They remained clean!
As did Miss Milly...
The girlie girls in the teepee...
Needless to say, I had a mess on my hands at the end of that little play date!  I basically had to bathe the boy under one of the water pumps, strip him down, dry him off and put on clean clothes.  I am so glad we had another set.  Otherwise, he would have walked to the car in his birthday suit and we would have driven all the way home that way!  We can't dirty up the new car now can we!?!  Not to mention we had to make a Kroger run on the way home.  Messy times but super fun times with my little man!

Oh dear.  Saturday was sweet Jane Claire's 2 MONTH birthday.  I cannot believe 2 months have come and gone.  Was I not just on bed rest???  Not according to the sticker on her onesie...
She is such a sweet 2 month old little girl...
I could just eat her up...
Her sweet little smile is just to die for...
And those big blue eyes...
What a dream baby we have!
I had to bribe the chipmunk to participate...
And her brother too!!!
And here is Jane Claire's 2 month perspective pictures...

Jane Claire and her bunny...

Jane Claire and her bunny in her chair...

Big feet, little feet...
Mug shot... (she was not happy about these pictures!)
Big hand, little hand...

Oh my goodness! I think I just had a panic attack thinking about that mud! It's not a right of passage or anything is it? I just don't think I can face that kind of stuff...it's not the thought of parasites or germs or anything...it's the MESS!!!! I mean, dried up mud in racks and crevices! Call Parthenon, and pre-register me!

P.S. You're right, the video of baby girl is PRESH!!!!!
