At 11:24 am, Crosby Fox turned 3 years and 52 weeks old!!! (Sort of?!?) He's FOUR!!! Craziness!!! At 1:03 pm, Jane Claire turned 39 weeks old!!! I cannot believe we celebrated Christmas and a four year old birthday all in the same week. Not to mention Jane Claire is at the end of her 30's. I mean, she is nearly 9 months old. Nine.
Needless to say, LOTS of pictures follow. I should probably just dive in or it could take years to finish this post. Sooo...Christmas Day!!! I snuck downstairs in the wee hours of the morning to see if Santa by chance stopped at our house... ;-)
He did!!!! We had 2 really sweet kiddos this year. Jane Claire found lots of yummy treats in her stocking. She got a couple of sippy cups too. I guess somebody is trying to turn her into a big girl!! She also got a set of bathtub princesses much like we saw at Disney World!?! Thank Santa is pretty tricky...Crosby. Oh, Crosby Fox. What a mess this kid is. He came down the stairs and absolutely did NOT notice the drum set sitting there waiting for him. He saw a shark, which he was thrilled about and a few wrapped gifts. But Santa's main gift when totally unnoticed for the first few minutes. And the Buzz he asked for at the last second... Yea. He wasn't there!!! Talk about anticlimactic!!! Once he finally saw the drums, he was a little hesitant to play...
Then he got going...
And he was pretty excited about them!!! Heavens to Betsy, this boy is a mess!!
Two years in a row that he has not even seen his "big" gift!!! Santa might give up on this kid!! ;-) Now, this one was super excited to see the new, loud, ball popping toy...
Of course we had to get pictures in front of the tree. Me and my girl...Blake and Baby Girl...
Me and my sweet, sweet babes...
Gott love silly family pictures! They are the most fun...
My parents came over around 10:00 for brunch. We were excited to spend the day with them!
The Autrys joined us for brunch too! It was the perfect Christmas with family and friends!
The grub. Gotta have a food picture. Too bad Crosby and these consistencies don't mix well! Maybe one day the boy will be able to eat an egg!
We let little miss try out her new sippy cups. She wasn't sure what to think about the water that came out...
Me and the kiddos with Pop and Gee Gee...
We had a nice relaxing day with friends and family! We got Jane Claire in the tub and she was all smiles! Just like her brother, she looooves a bath. Preshy, presh...
We celebrated Christmas with the Malones on Wednesday afternoon. Jane Claire wore the Christmas dress Lulu gave her...
She looked too sweet...Sweet cousins playing together...
Crosby was happy to see RC and Woody...
Jane Claire got Baby Stella...
She immediately tried to remove her pacifier! She still does not like for her to have the pacifier "in" her mouth! (It is actually magnatic and just sticks to her face.) Jane Claire trys to put it in her own mouth!
Gid was super excited about the goalie gloves he got from Santa. He looked so funny trying to open gifts with them on... ;-)
Yay! I got a basket to hang on the wall in our half bath!!! I have only been meaning to get one of those for 6 years!!! Love it!
So Crosby asked Santa for "Big Buzz Lightyear" at the last second. Apparently, Santa already knew that Lulu and GranBuddy got one for him. Just like the one we saw at Disney World!?! Interesting, huh!! THAT is what he was looking for on Christmas morning!! Sigh. We had a feeling this gift would be a hit. And it was...
Jeremy was happy about his Christmas loot!Baby Girl was getting pretty sleepy. Good thing she had Daddy's lap to cuddle in...
She was the lucky kiddo that got the musical snowman gift box this year!! She was a big fan...
It had THE cutest snow gear inside!! You may see more of this later! ;-)
We ended the night with family pictures. Of course, my children didn't exactly cooperate! One with Jane Claire looking...And one with Crosby looking!
Kerri, Jason, Sam and Gid...
Anne Claire, Malone, Charlotte and Jeremy...
It was so nice to have everyone together to celebrate Christmas. Of course we reminisced about our lovely Thanksgiving trip to Disney World. How pitiful is it that I did not have one. single. picture. of GranBuddy and Lulu. Shame on me. And I think I am the only person that even took pictures!!! The truth is, poor GranBuddy and Lulu felt HORRIBLE that night. They both had major sinus/allergy/head cold yuckiness going on. We probably should have rescheduled for their sake but they pushed through for ours. We had a great meal and a great time together! Oh how I love the holidays and spending time with family!!!
As the Christmas festivities wrapped up, we started to think about the next celebration. Crosby's 4th Birthday!!! Friday was our very last day to be parents of a 3 year old little boy...
And it was Jane Claire's last night to have a 3 year old brother!!!
Is he not the cutest 3 year, 51 week and 6 day old boy you have ever seen?!?!On Saturday morning, we had a 4 YEAR OLD BOY!!!
We let him decided how he wanted to spend his birthday. He said he wanted pancakes for breakfast. It took a lot of arm twisting but we agreed to go to Pancake Pantry. :-) We were hoping the cold and snow would keep other people away. Not the case. Sweet Blake stood in a line outside for about 45 minutes. God love him!!! I sat in the car with the kiddos and stayed warm. Would you just look at this ADORABLE baby sporting her new snow gear...
Doll Baby!!! We finally made it inside and sat down for plates of sugary yumminess!!! The birthday boy and his baby sister were pretty excited! ;-)
We ordered Cros a half order of chocolate chip pancakes, per his request. THEN we found out they brought birthday pancakes for FREE!! Kinda wish we had known that before hand! We had way too many pancakes at our table!!! Getting ready to blow out his candle...Got it!
Have you ever seen something so full of sugar?!? Of course he barely ate any of it. I may have had a bite. Or two...
After breakfast, we headed to the Adventure Science Center. Luckily, this in NOT a picture of Crosby leaving in an ambulance!!!
They have one inside that he really liked to "drive"!!
He also like climbing up and down vertebrae!
Meanwhile, I had a very sleep Jane Claire strapped to me. I wasn't able to climb with the boys, snapping pictures. I was able to get one of Crosby when his buddy John Christopher joined him! They were too excited to look at a camera...
They ran around like wild banshees!! And then Crosby's sugar high ended and he was ready to crash! Talk about one tired boy...
He was passed out before we even got on the interstate!!!
Up, up, up...
Down, down, down!!
Then she had to crawl over to see her "new" friend! Recently, Jane Claire has become quite fond of Nugget. It is too cute to see the smile on her face when she sees him come in the room. I am not sure if he has the same reaction when he sees her!! ;-)
And I just had to share a picture of Jane Claire and her precious bunny boots!!! Are they not adorable?!? Thank you, Aunt Dot!!!We got a call saying John Christopher forgot to give Crosby a little gift. He wanted to bring it by. Needless to say, Crosby was super excited. At least I was able to redeem the failed photo attempts from earlier in the day...
A boy in Toy Story heaven!!! And he hadn't even opened his gifts from us...
Let the fun begin...
What is that? More Toy Story?!?
And a microphone for our musician...
While he was distracted, Jane Claire took a turn with his garbage truck!
And how fun is this?!? The real Buzz Lightyear...
Jane Claire was a little unsure about the space ranger that took her brother's place!!
First night as a mom of a 4 year old!!! Man I love this 4 year old...
And this 39 week old little girl has stolen my heart too!!!
