At 11:24 am, Crosby Fox turned 3 years and 25 weeks old!!! At 1:03 pm, Jane Claire turned 12 weeks old!!! TWELVE WEEKS! My baby will be 3 whole months old this time next week. I can't stand it. Not to mention my big baby will celebrate his half birthday on the 29th. I know my weekly rant over the ridiculous pace at which life is moving probably gets annoying. But as I write each weeks stats, I am reminded all over again. Maybe keeping up with a blog is unhealthy! ;-)
I try to take a picture of both kiddos to put first every week. But out of the 100+ pictures I took, none were only of the 2 of them! Then I decided she should get to have her picture up there every now and then since Crosby got 3+ years to himself! It is only fair, right?! Technically, I am in the above picture too... ;-)
We spent the majority of this week in someone else's pool. Fear not. We have known the pool owner every single time. I wouldn't just show up at someone's pool unannounced or uninvited. Or maybe I would. If the gate isn't locked I consider it fair game. Anyway, our playgroup met at the Ivey casa for a swim. Would you just look at these kiddos (minus Mason, who came right after the picture was taken!)...
A few of the babes: Brooke, Finn and Milly...
My babe was able to snooze a bit while the big kids swam...
The Ivey's pool is so lovely for little ones. Who am I kidding?!?! It is lovely for their mommas as well!!! But that is not what I am talking about. I am referring to the beach entry with gradual drop offs before the water is over little one's heads. A large rock water feature that little ones like Lucas and Crosby just LOVE to jump off of...
Zero fear, this boy of mine!!Leaping Lucas...
And then the sweet little girlies decided to climb up on top of the rock. Charlotte, who absolutely does not like water to get anywhere near her eyes, decided she wanted to jump off the rock. I promise I tried explaining that she would indeed get water in her eyes but she insisted. I don't think she quite got it because she did it...
The girl reached up for Kara's hand in assistance as she lept!
She was quite shocked when she went under and water got in her eyes. But, she survived it and was swimming again a few days later! I love how Crosby is sitting in the cave under the "cliff"! So fun!We went swimming the next day too! We stopped by to see 3/4's of the Rick clan. She had a little something for us but more on that later! Margaret and Wells had just finished their swim lessons so we had wet headed kiddos! I was excited to let Melissa see Jane Claire in this strawberry getup that Miss Moo wore when she was a tiny thing...
Is she not adorable?!? I know the answer. Yes!! ;-) We had to put these two up on the swing like we did when they were little. And how perfect that they even coordinate. They were just screaming for a photo op...
Sweet sugars...
Belly laughs...
Cutie patooties...
Mr. Wells needed in on the fun!
As if swimming doesn't wear you out enough, we stopped by and played with John Christopher afterwards (no pics :( ). Crosby was exhausted. I told him he could lay on the couch for "a little rest". Long naps late in the day come back to haunt us at bed time. I was doing something with Sister Sue and turned around to this...
I love it!!! Crosby has always taken naps, at nap time, in his bed. Therefore, he has never been one to fall asleep in random places. I have always envied that pics on Facebook of friends kids sleeping in awkward positions in those random places. Now I have 2!! And no "bubba" judgements. He loves that blasted thing. And sleeps might fine with it in place...
While he was out, I snapped a few pictures of Jane Claire, who was in the best of moods...
Hiding behind the blanket...
Look at those lashes curling up so pretty...
"Bubbles", a name Crosby tells everyone we call her! She does have spit bubbles coming out of her mouth 90% of the time!
Sweet baby doll...
Ah yes! The things Melissa had for us... Tickets to see Sesame Street Live!!
On Saturday, we joined the Ricks and 2/5 of the Wootten crew at the arena to see Sesame Street Live. Melissa's dad was so gracious to share tickets with us! The kiddos were great for the first half of the show. Then intermission hit and they got out of their seats. They weren't too excited to return to their seats once the show started back up. Mrs. Joanna caved and got these twirling Elmo light up thingys that bought us a little more time...
They made for neat pictures anyway...
Pretty lights, huh?!?
Melissa with Sweet Margaret...Joanna and John Christopher...
Me with Crosby (being grumpy!!) and Jane Claire. Blake had to work so he had to miss the show :(...
Melt my heart look at this doll baby...
Seriously, she is just precious in her whale swimsuit. I mean precious. She sat with GranBuddy, taking it all in...
Malone had a baby pool all to himself!
My boys, hanging out in the big pool...
And because the little darling is so cute, I have to share another one of her. It seriously doesn't get any cuter...
Blake took Jane Claire swimming for the first time...
I think she liked it!!!
Oh my goodness...Anne Claire with Malone. He is totally waving at the camera!!!

Love these two boys!Jane Claire at 12 weeks...
Tonight, we had a sweet family over for dinner. The Droemers were so good to us when I was on bed rest. Since Crosby and Isabella (aka "Misabella" to Crosby :) ) were in the same class, Lexi volunteered to take Crosby to and from school on Monday and Friday. Here is a picture of "Misabella", Lexi and Crosby...
Crosby LOVES these two ladies soooooo much. And Mr. Lee!! But he and Blake were cleaning out their fridge/freezer when I took these pictures!!
It was an emotional night. Tomorrow morning, the Droemers will be moving to Tulsa. Watching them drive away tonight reminded me, yet again, how quickly life passes us by. It seems like yesterday Lexi called, insisting on taking Crosby to and from school. I was so hesitant because I felt it would be such a burden. She never made it seem that way. She did so much more that take him to and from school. She called asking if she could take him shopping at Publix after school on Mondays because it was "easier" to shop with both of them as opposed to just Isabella. Then on Friday afternoons, she took the kiddos to McDonalds for milkshakes. Isabella and Crosby always split a strawberry shake with 2 cherries on top. The kiddos would end up at their house or ours playing until 5 or so. She typically had him 2 hours after school ended. Above and beyond. She said it was easy to help us out because she loved our sweet boy. She had never met a little boy like him. He really is that easy to love. A special friendship was formed thanks to my time on the couch. And now the little love that put me on that couch is almost 3 months old. And it is the end of June. I thought we had plenty of time to enjoy spending with our families before the end of June. But here it is. Time to say farewell for now. I wish we had gotten to know them sooner. I wish we could have spent a little more time together as families. I wish I had soaked up the screams and giggles these kiddos would make when they chased each other all over the house. Life is so quick. I purposefully try to enjoy each and every second of it. But then I get busy and forget to stop and enjoy the moments that matter. Friends move away. Time moves on...
My babies will never be this small again. Lord, help me to hold them close and soak them in while I can. Oh how I love them so...
